Welcome



The Association was founded in 1920 to foster good fellowship between expatriate Scots,
and those interested in all things Scottish in the town. Membership is currently around 80, and our members contribute currently and historically to the life of the town.
The Association administers a charitable trust which funds modest donations annually.
Beneficiaries of “The President’s Charity” have included Warwickshire & Northamptonshire
Air Ambulance, The Cynthia Spencer Hospice, the charity for support and research into
Huntington’s Disease, Macmillan Nurses, and Homestart.

Burns Night and St Andrew’s Night Dinner Dances are the two main events in our
calendar; smaller gatherings range from bowls matches, musical evenings, golfing events
to informal dances sometimes linked with other member societies from the East Midlands
Association of Scottish Societies Our friends from other associations are from; Bedford , Rushden, Leicester ,Huntingdon , Corby, Derby, Kettering, and Leicester.
